Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The Journal of Biological Methods is delighted to announce a special issue dedicated to Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) 's transformative role in molecular diagnostics. As a powerful technology, NGS has revolutionized our understanding and approach to diagnosing and treating diseases at the molecular level. This special issue aims to bring together a collection of high-quality research and review articles that explore the latest advancements, applications, and future directions of NGS in molecular diagnostics.
Contributions are invited that focus on using NGS in cancer diagnostics, molecular pathology, virology, and medical genetics. We are particularly interested in studies demonstrating novel methodologies, providing insights into clinical applications, or addressing the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating NGS into routine diagnostic workflows. Clinical validation of new methods, both lab-developed and commercial, is welcome.
